Vladimir Kazanevsky graduated from Kharkov State University majoring “Cosmic radiophysics” and Kiev Institute of Journalism Skill. Vladimir Kazanevsky is a freelance cartoonist and writer.
His artworks have been exhibited worldwide and he has won more than 500 prizes in International cartoon contests in 53 countries. His cartoons have been published in the following magazines: Sine Mensuel, Courrier International (France), Nebelspalter (Swiss), Witty World (USA), Eulenspiegel (Germany). His cartoons have also been published in the following newspapers: Ouest-France and Yomiuri Shimbun (Japan). Kazanevsky also published personal cartoon books: “Heads”, “Revelation of Elderly Cupid”, “Homo Gibber”, “Neck”, “Cotton knees”, “Madmen”, and “Modern world cartoonist”. His books have been published in Switzerland, China, Belgium, Russia and Ukraine. Kazanevsky also gave lectures on Theory of Cartoon Art in USA, France, Japan, Italy and Turkey.
