Su Thet Mon was selected for the 2025 Shortlist with Norway in Red, White, and Grey.

Su Thet Mon is a journalist working for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK). In 2024 she contributed to a groundbreaking environmental investigation titled “Norway in Red, White and Grey”. The journalists used AI technology to map over 44,000 interventions in Norwegian nature over a five-year period. The project won Prix Europa for Best European Online Media Project of the year, Data-SKUP (for best data-driven journalism in Norway) and the prestigious Innovation Prize of the Norwegian Research Council in 2024.

Patrick da Silva Sæther

Patrick da Silva Sæther was selected for the 2025 Shortlist with Norway in Red, White, and Grey.

Patrick da Silva Sæther is a Norwegian photojournalist and visual storyteller. He has a Bachelor’s degree in photojournalism from Oslo Metropolitan University (OsloMet) and in 2017, Sæther joined NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation) as a digital storyteller. In recent years, the editorial team Sæther is a part of has published several storytelling projects that have reached a wide audience. One of their most recent work, “Norway in Red, White, and Grey,” published in 2024, has received significant recognition and sparked public debate on the urgency of nature conservation in Norway.
