Idit Frenkel is a UX/UI designer at the digital studio of Haaretz, Israel’s leading liberal newspaper.

Previously, she was the founder and lead designer at RSVP Studio in Tel Aviv, best known for its work on the website 972mag.com and various platforms supporting civil society initiatives in Israel. Her professional background includes eight years at Wix, where she specialized in product research and UX design with a strong focus on nonprofit and NGO websites. Today, she is crafting meaningful digital experiences in the world of journalism, while also pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology

Ainhoa Díez

Ainhoa Díez was selected for the 2025 Shortlist with Segregated by the Wheel of Inequality in Spain: How Impoverished Neighbourhoods Become Hotspots for the Lower Educated.

Ainhoa Díez once disliked mathematics but eventually discovered a passion for data journalism. She holds a degree from the University of Valladolid and a master’s degree in Investigative Journalism, New Narratives, Data, Fact-Checking, and Transparency from Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC). She began her career in the Cantabria newsroom of elDiario.es — her home region — before joining its data team, where she contributed to projects such as The Wheel of Inequality, which received the INJUVE Award for Journalism and Communications in 2024. She is currently part of the team at Maldita.es, where she works on making complex stories accessible and understandable through data.
