Nidžara Ahmetašević is a Sarajevo-based journalist, author, and scholar who covers migration, human rights, and the Balkans. Her work has appeared in AJE, New Yorker, The Observer, The New Humanitarian, The Guardian, Middle East Eye, and BIRN, among others. She was the regional editor for the Kosovo2.0 magazine. IN 2024, she published the book. “The Media as a Tool of International Interventions: House of Cards” (Routledge). She was nominated for the European Press Prize in 2022.
