Annabel Wahba is a journalist and screenwriter. She has been working for DIE ZEIT since
2007 and is the head of text at ZEITmagazin. In her reports and essays, she focuses on
politics in the Middle East as well as on issues of flight, migration, and integration. She
has received multiple awards for her work, including the German Reporter Prize in the
“Investigation” category, and she was named Journalist of the Year 2018 in the category
“National Feature Reporting.”
