Kristina Kobl is an editor at the inclusive newsroom andererseits where she manages the print magazine and conducts research on inclusion topics. She completed her journalism training at the German Journalism School in Munich.

Constanze Kainz was selected for the 2026 Shortlist with One day in Gaza.

Constanze Kainz is head of the podcast department at DIE ZEIT. She oversees the publication’s audio strategy, coordinates and writes long-form narrative podcasts, and co-hosts the daily news podcast “Was jetzt?”. She studied Governance and Public Policy and graduated from the German School of Journalism in Munich. Before joining DIE ZEIT, she worked for Bayerischer Rundfunk and ZDF. In 2020, medium magazin named her one of its “Top 30 Under 30”.
