Despina Papageorgiou is an investigative journalist at Reporters United. Her work combines investigative reporting and narrative storytelling, with strong attention to international perspective. She covers topics ranging from government and corporate accountability to the environment, science, and emerging technologies, as well as profiles that shed light on social issues and influential voices shaping our time. She applies the same focus to Popaganda magazine, where she regularly contributes. Over the years, she has held a variety of editorial roles in Greek media, including political magazine editor and radio show editor, and has worked as a production agent for international outlets such as Al Jazeera, ZDF and NRC Handelsblad. She has taught journalism at the Ambelokipi Public Institute of Vocational Training. Despina holds a BA in Philosophy from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and an MA in Development and International Relations from Aalborg University, Denmark.
