Maud Jullien is an investigations editor at Lighthouse Reports, she co-led the investigation and produced the film. 

Beatriz Ramalho da Silva

Beatriz Ramalho Da Silva is an Investigative Reporter at Lighthouse Reports, she carried out interviews with survivors and reporting on the ground in Melilla and Nador. 

Jack Sapoch

Jack Sapoch is a visual investigator at Lighthouse Reports, he reconstructed a visual timeline of the events, created the 3D animated model of Barrio Chino border post and all of the animations. 

Bashar Deeb

Bashar Deeb is a visual investigator at Lighthouse Reports, he helped find key footage and reconstructed a visual timeline of the events. 

José Bautista

José Bautista is a Reporter at Der Spiegel and also works for Por Causa and the New York Times, he carried out interviews with Spanish officials and helped obtain key footage. 

María Martín

María Martín is a Reporter covering migration at El País and carried out interviews with survivors and Spanish government officials.

Steffen Lüdke is a Reporter at Der Spiegel and carried out interviews with experts and European authorities. 

Aziz Alnour

Aziz Alnour is an independent journalist from Sudan. He carried out interviews with Sudanese survivors.

Salaheddine Lemaizi is the director of Enass and carried out video interviews with survivors and Moroccan authorities. 

Arthur Weil-Rabaud

Arthur Weil-Rabaud is a visual investigator at Le Monde and he analyzed the deployment patterns and use of teargas by Spanish and Moroccan forces. 

Alison Killing

Alison Killing is an architect and Pulitzer Prize winning journalist, founder of Killing Architects, she helped reconstruct a visual timeline of the events.
