Katrin Kuntz, born 1982, is a reporter and staff writer for Der SPIEGEL magazine in Hamburg, Germany. Before joining Der SPIEGEL in 2013, she attended the German School of Journalism in Munich, studied Spanish and French Philology and wrote as a freelancer for several German magazines and newspapers. Katrin reports from Asia, North America and the Middle East and has covered conflict zones worldwide. Working on a wide range of topics with a focus on socio-political issues she is always interested in what moves humanity.
