Marian Blasberg has won the 2019 European Press Prize Distinguished Reporting Award with ‘Fifty-Six Days of Separation‘
Marian Blasberg, 43, is a reporter with Germany’s Der SPIEGEL. Based in the magazine’s Rio de Janeiro office, he covers mainly latin-american topics. Marian studied philosophy and literature in Düsseldorf before he attended the German School of Journalism in Munich. After nine years at Die ZEIT, he joined Der SPIEGEL in late 2014. At the moment, Marian is on a sabbatical, taking care of his two small children.
