This investigation by Reuters, led by Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo, is on the shortlist for the European Press Prize 2019 in the category 'Investigative Reporting'.

As of the writing of this letter, Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo have been in a Myanmar prison for over 365 days. They are serving seven-year jail sentences for violating the country’s Official Secrets Act. Their real crime? Exposing a massacre.
