Natalie Nougayrède is a French journalist. She supports civil society initiatives in Europe’s eastern regions. She is a former editor-in-chief of Le Monde and worked at The Guardian. She was a reporter in Central Europe, Ukraine, the Caucasus and Russia, and was Le Monde’s diplomatic correspondent. She was awarded the Albert Londres journalism prize for her coverage of the Chechnya war. She serves on the board of the InterJust, an NGO which fights impunity across borders, and served on the board of the Primo Levi Centre in Paris, helping refugees victims of political violence.
