Data journalist Winny de Jong (1988) works at the Dutch newspaper NRC. She is recognized as an insightful and original voice on data-driven journalism. Her celebrated talks and teachings have put many on the path of data literacy and data-driven investigative reporting. However, Winny believes everything that truly matters – in a story, in journalism and in life at large – not to fit in a dataset. She also thinks life is not a pizza.
