Anna Kiedrzynek is a Polish freelance reporter and long-form writer. Her stories were published in Newsweek, Gazeta Wyborcza, Tygodnik Powszechny and Pismo. Magazyn Opinii. She has reported from abroad as a participant of the Gabriel García Márquez Fellowship in Cultural Journalism in Colombia and the Transatlantic Media Fellowship programme (sponsored by Heinrich Böll Foundation) in New York and Washington DC. She has also been a fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) in Vienna. During her residency, she worked on her first non-fiction book which had its premiere in 2023. As a journalist, she focuses on social exclusion, mental health, psychiatry and human rights issues.
